Vermiculite

Use when shipping hazardous waste, chemicals, and flammable liquids especially with leakage could occur.  Vermiculite packing material is lightweight, absorbent, and nonabrasive.  Naturally inorganic and safe, it easily pours around irregular shaped objects, providing superb shock absorbency.

Mandatory for all shipments of liquids by air when secondary means of closure cannot be done.

• Grade 1A Fine - Most absorbent. Use for horticulture and liquid spill cleanups.
• Grade 2A Medium - Absorbs spills and provides good cushioning properties.
• Grade 3A Coarse - Protects bottled liquids from leakage and damage during shipping.
• Grade 4A Extra Coarse - Largest size. Provides excellent cushioning.
